Anna came to America with a child in her arms and a suitcase in her hand. Her husband was killed in Germany on the way here. To support her family, Anna rented rooms and provided board. Later, her son Alex would continue the business with an old country hotel. The brass bed in this room was a gift from Alex and his wife Sarah with the hope that we too can provide for our family.

Bev's room is in honor of Sheila's sister, who with her zestful and lightheartness to life, is brought out in this bright airy space. Abundant delights in Bev's bathroom are a true compliment to the room.

Our dearest Phil, a well-known designer and antique specialist, has supported us through the entire project of the B&B, giving us endless hours of consultation and wonderful ideas.
