Fall is here!
Here we are wondering where the summer went. I'm looking out the window and there is a generous
hit of fall. 47 degrees and light reds and gold on the hill side of Old Mauch Chunk.
Although there is or has been a recession, the Cupids have found wonderful people to stay at our Inn.
We are truly grateful. As the new season comes into play we only have mid-week
bookings left for October. Please call for the Specials.

Hot Wine
I am a little chilly this fall, so here is our "hot wine" mixture sure to warm your soul.
- 1 qt. hearty burgundy
- 1/2 tsp whole cloves
- 1 cup orange juice
- cinnamon stick, one per mug
- 1 cup water
- lemon slices for each mug
- 2 cups sugar
- add brandy to each serving (optional)
In Germany it is referred to as "Gluehwein"
A real belly warmer and great to drink in front of a fire
